A love of France,
as we know it.
Imagine a table surrounded by a small group of people with familiar interests and curiosity. A welcoming place to gather and exchange, in the most natural way, what makes French culture so rich — the language itself, the food, the wine, the cinema, the literature, the art, the architecture, the history, and more.
Partage begins there: around the table.
The Table is our cultural series in the United States — a gathering with its own purpose and life. The Voyage is our travel experience in France, offered separately at certain times of the year — small immersive weeks that carry forward many of the same conversations.
François-Xavier is a research professor of philosophy and British literature, with a lifetime spent inside French language and culture. Heather grew up a Third Culture Kid in Saudi Arabia — American by passport, global by experience — and later grounded that instinct academically in Cultural Anthropology and Global Studies. She has approached every place she's lived or traveled since as a student of its culture. Partage is where we set all of that aside and share, unhurried and without an agenda, what we actually know and love with friends — the language, the food, the wine, the films, the books, the history, the place. It is the most personal thing either of us does.
Partage is an Interstice Atelier project — one small way we connect our passion for cultural inquiry with the friends and community who gather at the table.
